Thrifty Foods has 26 stores in communities across Vancouver Island, Saltspring Island, and the Lower Mainland in beautiful British Columbia. We’ve been proudly Canadian since 1977 when we first opened our doors in Victoria’s Fairfield neighbourhood.

We are blessed to live and work in communities jam-packed with community spirit! From arts and sports to health care and education to supporting the less fortunate, we put our efforts into all kinds of programs that matter to you!

When someone needs a hand, we are happy to help. Our Sendial Grocery Shopping & Delivery Program does the shopping for customers who, because of injury, frailty or other physical reason, can’t easily get to our stores or shop independently.

We love to help non-profits, charities, schools and local organizations in our communities! Our Thrifty Foods Smile Card Bulk Program allows organizations who shop at Thrifty Foods to immediately save up to 6% on the purchase of Thrifty Food Smile Cards in bulk. These immediate savings allow you to keep more money in your organization’s pockets. It’s that simple!

We provide support through our Community Action Fund to organizations with CRA Charitable Status or through Community Support for non-profit organizations.
